The latest FL doors and screens from FyreSpan offer 60 minutes integrity only fire rating, having been successfully tested to well beyond 60 minute integrity at Warrington Fire earlier this year.
The FL range can have frames down to 20mm on stiles with 90mm on rails. The idea behind this very slim, almost frameless design is to give maximum vision and transparency while offering an effective fire barrier.
Tests to BS:476 part 22 at Warrington Fire the system achieved an 84 minute integrity rating, well in excess of the minimum standard required.

The FL door and screen system is based on a well established product but the current version is virtually new since it has been extensively re-designed and updated.
The modifications substantially improved the performance of the product, hence the highly successful Warrington Fire test.
“This door and screen system is absolutely the right product for lift lobbies, for example inner city tall buildings where there is a need to have open access around the lift lobby yet meet high fire protection standards,” said Will Jarvis, technical design and development director of FyreSpan Glass.
